The Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary is a great place for
bird watching and hiking.
It's a place that allows you to drift away on the
clouds, or to lose yourself on a trail in a marsh. During January, it is home to eagles.
On some
days, there are thousands of birds on Ellis Bay and on others, there is but a
lone gull.
I always keep my binoculars in my trunk.
