Dream Cake
I went to Fountain Park to see the cake and the statue. I seen the fence around the statue and of course the first thought that went through my head was to keep people away from it, marking it up or stealing it.
After thinking about it and the state of the city, nation, world I came to the conclusion that it was not to keep people away, it was to keep the dream from getting out.

Log Cabin Church Cake
Church of the Holy Family in Cahokia, Illinois , is a breathtaking example of an early log church. My words would not do this place justice so you can read about this early log church at the blog Rome of The West.
The care taker of the church was friendly and helpful. It was very hot the day we seen the church but it had air conditioning. We were told that it does not have heat in the winter.
It was a fine place for quiet reflection. For some reason our attention was drawn to the bell tower in the steeple.

The Chess Hall of Fame holds both World and US inductees. Since 1986 there are 19 world inductees and 52 US inductees. This includes Bobby Fischer, who is listed on both.
It was just in 2011 that began the World Woman Chess Champion. Vera Menchick was the first inductee.
Not only does the World Chess Hall of Fame offer classes on the game, they also exhibit chess art and artifacts from artists and collectors.
