Ragtime cake

As you tour through the Scott Joplin House you can hear a player piano playing Scott Joplin melodies. It is here that Joplin and his wife Belle lived in during their time in St. Louis. The home is furnished with decor dating back to 1902 when Joplin produced some of his best-known works, including The Entertainer and March Majestic.

He was inspired by the 1904 World's Fair and composed Cascades.

Schlafly Bottle Works

 

The Schlafly Bottleworks opened in a former Shop 'n Save supermarket building. The menu offers produce from local farmers and businesses.

They offer free a tours where you will learn about the history of Schlafly beer and enjoy beer tasting. They brew 20 styles of beer.

 

The color of the cake was spot on with matching the Schlafly building.
