As you tour through the Scott Joplin House you can hear a player piano playing Scott Joplin melodies. It is here that Joplin and his wife Belle lived in during their time in St. Louis. The home is furnished with decor dating back to 1902 when Joplin produced some of his best-known works, including The Entertainer and March Majestic. He was inspired by the 1904 World's Fair and composed Cascades.
